Well since Blogger won't be supporting FTP publishing anymore, looks like it's time to consider options...

They offer custom domains, which I think is their own hosting... they also have blogspot domains, which we doesn't want, my preciousss does we...

Or I could just shop for a new blog software to run myself...

Sigh sigh... time to experiment.

Don't know what we're gonna do here exactly but things are moving along... Twitter's here now so expect a twitter for simplejobz soon, for example, and we just may decide to veer to exclusively adult OR mainstream business... meanwhile, whatever your optimization needs or simple site builds... get in touch!

SEO and Site Optimization

This is a short blog entry to suggest you check out my SEO blog if you don't have the budget to afford my services.

The thing started off as a lark trying to get into the SEO contests that a gay webmaster forum was starting, using the word "pointentslutten" along the same lines as the nigritude ultramarine contest that is almost the one that started this wave of things.

The first one ever was for some non-english improunounceable German word that I'll let you read about : for a history of seo contests, go to wikipedia.

Anyhow getting back to my efforts, my recent blog entries at The Pointenslutten Blog have been more general and basic - and essential, if you want ot give it a hand yourself - but remember: Be Patient.

I gotta change this ugly template. Really not elegant, I find...

Anyhow, today I'm optimizing and submitting a site on closed circuitNo television systems - or rather, pc-based video surveillance systems... And it's quite educational I must say.

No but really, cleaning up designs and creating blog templates itself is not really educational except for the things you learn from your screw ups hahah, but having to key-word index a page, and write the blog, or at least find the right writings to augment it, mean that you have to know what you're doing.

So here I go learning about the biz that is, in this post-9/11 era, going to boom real soon.

I don't know if I like this whole cameras-everywhere, London-CCTV-Big-Brother trend that is occurring, really, but work is work.

I don't know what to tell you here, except that I can help you set up your blog on your site simply, quickly, with a custom or pre-designed template, and inexpensively, all as part or independantly of your SimpleJobz job.

The services that SimpleJobz provides are mainly text-based content for site builds as well as dissemination in articles, press releases and other forms of communication. There's also the issue of basic, easy, light and well-optimized websites. Blogger software is almost endlessly customizable and dynamic, able to build a site-like or blog-like blog which is truly light and tasty to most search engine spiders.

This is it for the intro entry... mostly this here should be updated with new jobz and projects, examples and samples, and anything neat, cool or crafty I discover.

And yes, I will teach here what I learn as I job along. After all, you're not hiring me so much as for what I know, but for the time I'm going to put in on what you don't have the time to do.

It's all quite simple. Just hard to accumulate.
